  1. RedDeer Lake School is one of the best schools I have ever had the privilege of being involved with.
All 5 of my kiddos attend, my second oldest has Down Syndrome and the lengths they went to to make sure that she had every single support and need met was just unbelievable. From purchasing materials and devices from their own money, to ensuring she had not one but TWO aids and always, always included her with everything the “typical” kids were doing. I’d call and ask of she was allowed to participate in Track & Feild or the Trrry Gox Run or if they needed me there to watch her and they were almost confused and responded with.. “she is a student like every other child here… why wouldn’t she participate? Ofcourse she will. It’s not necessary for you to come.” And I cried! Most places have always treated her as “too much” and required her to stay home or me to be hand in hand with her the whole time.
We had a sudden death in the family and they got the kids set up with counseling, set us up with outside supports AND the teachers brought us meals.
They even finished building their inclusive playground for one boy that is in a wheelchair so that he is no longer left out.
Honestly. Even if you love in the city.
You will not ever regret sending your kids to RedDeer Lake School.
    I promise you that.
