    I was sent to leavengreave remedial glass because I had a speech impediment, they thought I was a bit slow. My teacher Mrs Baron gave me the confidance to read aloud to her. I remember the head teacher coming in to the classroom and asking how I was doing. I think I must have been about eleven. She told the headmaster that he is an excellent reader far above his years, he has the reading age of a fourteen year old.
    I thank God for my angel Mrs Baron, who I will always hold so dear in my heart.
